I have included the original mimic C version and the mimic Java version, if you have probblems getting either of these to run, you can check out the java version on Peter Wayner's site... http://www.wayner.org/texts/mimic/

also check out ball.grm in the mimic dir to see what a mimic grammar file looks like.
